This rig seems too perfect to be true. The Allen & Heath Avantis is an amazing console. I love screens and that’s why I chose the Avantis when I moved to the Allen & Heath ecosystem. I have a couple SQs also but for our main auditorium we use the Avantis. When we first got it I wondered if there was a way to hijack the screens. Well, it looks like it’s possible! Obvoiusly it voids your warranty, although ours is already expired. I’m not sure how I feel about my main console for our weekly events being “hacked” but it sure is tempting, especially for a one man show type of event where I’m running sound, lighting, lyrics and the video switcher.
